Dr. Ghazala Hayat provides evaluation and treatment of patients with neuromuscular disorders, particularly amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), peripheral neuropathies, painful sensory neuropathies, myopathies, neuromuscular junction disorders and demyelinating disorders. She also specializes in clinical neurophysiology, nerve conduction studies, electromyography, electroencephalograms, and spasticity and headaches. Dr. Hayat is a professor of Neuromuscular Diseases in the Department of Neurology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Neuromuscular Disorders and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society.
